CPHI Frankfurt 2025 Concludes, Showcasing Global Pharma Trends and Fostering International Partnerships
The much-anticipated global pharmaceutical event, CPHI Worldwide 2025, was successfully held from October 28 to 30 at the Messe Frankfurt exhibition center in Germany. This annual gathering, themed “Intelligent Manufacturing, Green Pharmaceuticals, and Cross-border Integration” for 2025, served as a key platform for industry leaders, innovators, and stakeholders to connect and explore future opportunities.
The exhibition attracted widespread participation, with figures suggesting it drew over 2,400 exhibitors from more than 160 countries and was attended by approximately 62,000 to 65,000 professional visitors. The event comprehensively covered the entire pharmaceutical supply chain, including APIs, finished dosage forms (FDF), packaging materials, and pharmaceutical machinery.
Spotlight on Chinese Pharmaceutical Companies
Chinese pharmaceutical companies made a significant impact at the event, demonstrating their growing capabilities in the global market.
- Haisco Pharmaceutical Group highlighted its “China Smart Manufacturing + Global Standards” strategy. Its international team engaged in in-depth discussions with clients from Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America, exploring global supply chain optimization and receiving recognition for its high-quality product offerings.
- Kexing Pharmaceutical leveraged the platform to deepen its presence in the EU market. Its commercial team held one-on-one meetings with hundreds of potential partners from key European markets, resulting in concrete agreements, including an EPO deal with a Moroccan client and advanced talks on product registration and localization in Algeria.
- Zhuhai Biopharmaceutical Base organized a group participation for 15 of its member enterprises, including Livzon Pharma and Federal Pharma. This collective effort was highly successful, generating nearly 300 million RMB in intended transaction value and effectively showcasing the “Zhuhai Pharma” brand on the global stage.
- Tianjin Pharmaceutical Group and Gan & Lee Pharmaceuticals also had a strong presence, using the opportunity to engage in high-density business talks with partners worldwide and display their competitive edges in R&D and production.
Innovations and Global Collaboration
The event was more than a trade show; it was a hub for innovation and strategic partnerships. Companies like DLBS from Indonesia showcased their scientific advancements in evidence-based natural medicines, while Linuo Glass introduced its new pre-filled syringe (PFS) and ready-to-use (RTU) packaging solutions, emphasizing global compliance and quality.
